7 Done ! Farewell MetOp-A, we should never have seen him again! In fact we will still see it twice. After three unsuccessful launch attempts in July, the composite will be returned to the UCIF and de-encapsulated. It will be re-encapsulated on September 29 to be transfer to the train on September 30. After a shock during the installation on the train, it will come back to the UCIF and one more time de-encapsulated. Finally it will be re-re-encapsulated for good on October 7 to be launched on October 19 (still after two launch aborts). A long story!.
